DIN 73378

Polyamide tubes for lubrication systems are available in different wall thicknesses and material grades. Operating pressure depends on tube dimensions, material type and operating temperature.

Semi-Rigid Tube

PA 12 HL

Semi-rigid plastic / nylon tubing manufactured in accordance with DIN 73378. Available in black and transparent versions, empty or pre-filled with selected grease grades.

Technical Information

Plastic tubes are used to connect progressive distributors, relubrication distributors or piston distributors with individual lubrication points.

Standard DIN 73378
Applicable to PA 12 HL, PA 12 PHL and PA 12 PHLY tube versions.
Operating Temperature approx. −60°C to +80°C
Permissible temperature range stated for the plastic tube materials.
Media Resistance Oil / Grease / Lubricants
Also resistant to fuels and chlorine-free cleaning agents and solvents.
Material Properties Plasticiser-Free
Resistant to light-induced and heat-induced ageing.
Mounting Advice
Reinforcing sockets should be used for plastic tubes with dimensions 4 × 0.85 mm and 6 × 1.25 mm. As a general rule, reinforcing / push-in sockets are recommended when the tube wall thickness is 1.25 mm or less. For 6 × 1.5 mm PA 12 HL tubes, the source states that a push-in socket is not required.
