• Oil electro-dewatering machines – SALPI solutions An electro-dewatering machine is an industrial device designed to remove water and salts from crude oil. It works on the principle of breaking up a water-oil emulsion using a strong electric field, which accelerates the coagulation of water droplets and their separation from oil fractions.
  • Principle of operation: Inside the device, a high-voltage electric field is created between the electrodes. Under the influence of this field, small water droplets merge into larger ones, fall down and separate from the oil phase. The process can be supplemented with heating of the raw material and automatic control.
  • Technical features:
  • Flow capacity: 3–600 m³
  • Electrode voltage: up to 35 kV
  • Control: automatic (PLC) or manual
